Hello pineapples,
Welcome to my new article.
This weekend I went for 10 hours long hike - here in my lovely Slovakia. Yes, you hear right, it was sooo long and difficult. During my way up I wanted to die like 5676789 times, but I made it. I got my ass to the top and I have never felt better and more satisfied with myself. And then, sitting there in 2503m above sea level I realized one important thing.

Are you really curious what it was?
Okay, I will tell you.
You need to PUSH YOUR LIMITS. Always.

We use to live in our little boxes. In our little boxes which we call a comfort zone. We like to live there. Everything is so pleasant there, so we hardly and barely get out.

But once in a while, we have a need to do something big. And then comes the problem. We suddenly can´t do it, because it is out of our comfort zone, and we don´t like to cross borders.

But let me explain everything in one simple example:
Imagine, that you are a planet Earth spinning around the Sun. You are a part of a Solar System. Let´s just say, that this tiny solar system is your comfort zone. Your box. It´s pretty big, right? You have so many options what to do there. And, you like to be there.
But, outside of solar system, there´s a whole Universe. Large, expandable, infinite Universe. And that universe represents all that is beyond the boundaries of the comfort zone.
Do you feel small now? You should.

Can you even imagine, how many opportunities and things are awaiting you outside your box?
There´s the whole life. The life you have always wanted. It really is. Waiting for you to come.

So, go on, take a step out, push your limits.
It´s hard, I know. But result? Definitely worth it.

How to push your limits?
Small steps lead to big action.
Do something little that scares you every day. Every single day.
And watch, how your life is turning to positive way. How you are turning to the person you have always wanted to be.

For example: Since I have anxiety, phone calls are for me really hard to do. I like to avoid them and I like to make excuses why I can´t do a phone call today.
But, I´m pushing my limits, so even if I´m scared as hell, I do that damn phone call! And after this, I feel unbeatable.

So, the whole decision is on you. Do you really want to live that life? Do you want to do impossible things? Do you want to be brave?

If yes, you know, what you have to do.

*** Photos were taken in High Tatras, Slovakia, during our hike to "Rysy", one of the highest spots in our Country.

With love,

  1. Such an inspirational post here! I too used to very afraid to talk on the phone, but I found a technique which I used to get rid of the fear! Everyday I would ring a random number in the phone book, and would ask for any name (making sure it wasn't a common name!) they would tell me I have the wrong number and say goodbye.
It was so scary speaking to random strangers, but gradually I overcame my fear!
    Much love, Caitylis x x

I'm definitely pushing my limits, but in a good way. Like Karoliina said, you're a living proof how important it's to keep trying & you did so damn well! x

  9. Oh, I can relate to you so much! I also believe in pushing forward and facing your fears and challenges. I also have problem with talking on the phone, which was one of my "small challenges" to overcome this past week.

    This was an inspiring post!
    Keep up the good work!

    1. And how did you do? Have you overcome it yet? :) Thank you so so much for your kind words :)

  10. Such an inspirational post! I live by the "just one more step" philosophy. Always when I'm about to quit I think "just one more step", and I am always further than I thought I could go. Sometimes that turns to more than one step, but even just one is further along.

    1. Thank you so much. Oh, I actually love your philosophy, I will definitely need to try it soon :)

  11. Interesting and motivational post. I used to be very critical when it comes to change or trying something new. However, I had a moment of epiphany about life three years ago and its changed my perspective on many things. Now I am not scared of anything or trying anything new. At the end of the day, you only live once.

  12. Love this timely post....it's a good reminder

  13. Excellent post! The road will be mastered by going! It is necessary to go and not to look back at the past, not to wait for the future, to be in here and now.

    1. Thank you so much. You said it perfectly, I love your quotes :)

Thank you so much for your kind words, stranger :)
