Hello guys,
Today I´m gonna talk about, if you should or should not drink water during your exercise or workout and will show you one brand.
But, let´s step by step.

Question: Should you drink water during workout?
Answer: YES! YES! YES!

The body has more demands on your fluid intake during exercises. The necessary amount is influenced by intensity of workout and climatic conditions. For example, when you are exercising in heat your water consumption is higher.

One hour of exercise, the body can lose up to a liter of water. (Of course it depends of intensity and outside temperature.)
Drinking water protects against dehydration.

It´s hard to say, how much you should drink during your exercise, but fitness coach says:
"During workout you should drink about 0,5 l and more of liquids. Liquids mean water, ion or carnitine drinks. Drinking should be kept in small sips throughout the workout."
If you want to lose weight, you should avoid drinks containing carbohydrates.

So, there we go.
Do not forget to hydrate your body during exercise and drink. It´s very important.

  1. I always drink during exercise, and carry whatever water bottle I happen to have with me that day. I'm not sure if I drink enough though, I need to pay more attention to that from now on. Thanks for this great post!

    1. Thank you so much. Yes, drinking water, not even during exercise but also during the day is very important, but many of us (including me,haha) still have problem with that :)

  4. Thanks for sharing this post. I tell my clients all the time that they should stay hydrated before, during, and after workouts. Some people tend to feel dizzy during workouts for the simple reason of being dehydrated. It is also very needed in order for our muscles to grow :)

  7. Drinking water is so important. I try to drink 2 litres a day, and when I do yoga I add another 1.5 litres to that which I drink during the yoga class.
