Hello beautiful souls,
Today I´m gonna write about one of my favorites activities, about yoga.
I have been practicing yoga for a time and I´m gonna tell you, why you should start too.

What is "yoga"?
"Yoga is an ancient practice with origins stretching back thousands of years in India. It is designed to help achieve a more positive outlook on life and a focused, permanent sense of serenity and peace, purpose of uniting the mind, body and spirit. It comes from word yuj (prom Sanskrit, which is an ancient Indian language) and it means union.

Why you should start right now?
  1. It´s a great workout for your body, no matter which yoga exercise do you take. You can get trough them with your own tempo, you can focus on what you want , and you can watch your progress, how you can suddenly do things, you never knew you can do. And you are burning fat or reinforce parts of your body.
  2. Yoga, of course improves your flexibility and you will feel every muscle during your practice-even muscles, which you did not think they exist. You can stay more in a touch with your own body. Remember, you don´t have to be enough flexible to start yoga. Yoga is for everybody.
  3. Mitigate stress. There are so many relaxation techniques in yoga, which, with regular practice can make you calmer overall. "Along with training your body, yoga trains your mind to see the bigger picture," said Sadie Nardini, host of "Rock Your Yoga.
  4. If you are athlete, yoga can helps you to get maximum from yourself to your sport. It prevents workout injuries, you become more flexible, your muscles will be strength and you will be more relaxed and energized. Just set yoga into your training schedule, and you will definitely see the results!
  5. Yoga is not a competitive sport. Yoga in a combination with something can be very good, but yoga independently is not a competitive sport. Don´t compare yourself with others. We all have different body, we are all different. The only person you are able to compare with, is you.
  6. There is no stereotype. Yoga can be different every single day. You can always try new and new variations, you can always focus on different part of your body, because it´s very conformable.
  7. Everywhere, every time, for everybody. No jokes, yoga can be done everywhere. In the park, at the home, in the gym, in the nature, wherever you want. You can do it every time. In the morning, in the evening, every time it fits to you. And finally, no matter how old are you, yoga is amazing for everybody. From little child, to old senior :)
Hope you guys like this article. Let me know in comments, if you are practising yoga, or what you think. I´m looking forward to your answers.
With love,

  1. Aw I absolutely loved this! I love yoga and have been practising it for a few years now- but I've never seen a post like this and it's made me even more inspired to keep going. I love the nature of yoga as you said it's not about comparing yourself or being competitive it's completely independent, loving and supportive. Thanks so much for sharing :)
